All paid tiers include every feature. The only difference between Starter, Pro, and Business is the number of servers included. No feature gating, no upsells within paid plans.

What counts as a server?

Any physical machine, VM, or cloud instance running the Alloy agent. Containers are not counted separately — Docker monitoring is included per host, not per container.

What if I need to add servers mid-cycle?

Add them anytime from your dashboard. If you exceed your tier's limit, we'll reach out about upgrading. No mid-cycle charges — changes reflect on your next billing cycle.

How is this different from large monitoring companies?

Most large monitoring companies charge $15–30+ per host per month, with additional costs for logs, APM, and other modules. Irin is a flat monthly rate with every feature included. Your metrics stay on dedicated infrastructure — no usage-based surprises.

What happens if your platform goes down?

Your servers keep running normally — you just can't see the dashboards until we're back. Irin is a visibility layer, not a dependency in your infrastructure. We address platform issues as soon as practical during business hours.

What does the agent install on my server?

The bootstrap command installs Grafana Alloy as a persistent system service. It adds the Grafana package repository and syncs its configuration hourly. No other software is installed. Full disclosure in Terms of Use.

What data do you collect?

System metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) and system logs via journald. We do not collect application data, database contents, or any personal data from your systems. See Privacy Policy.

What Linux distros are supported?

Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, CentOS, Fedora, and most systemd-based distributions. The bootstrap script auto-detects your distro and selects the correct installation method.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No contract, no minimum term. Cancel anytime. Your data is retained per your tier's retention policy after cancellation, then deleted.
